For width measurement of the screed. The additional width measurement supplements the temperature measurement of the surface temperature sensor. This enables the exact temperatures in the edge areas of the asphalt to be paved to be displayed. It also prevents the measurement of external temperatures when two asphalt pavers are working side by side.

If the CCC-A Navigator is used for the roller team in addition to the PAVE Navigator, the documentation can be used to isolate the apparently insufficiently compacted edge areas caused by the overlapping driving style of the roller drivers by means of the width measurement.
