Compaction display
Analog Compaction Display (ACD) for vibratory rollers.
With the Völkel Compaction Display, every roller driver can directly monitor the current compaction process and assess when optimum compaction has been achieved.
During the pass, the increase in compaction is continuously determined and displayed to the driver on a scale from 0-100 – intuitively understandable, just like a speedometer.
The more LEDs light up, the higher the ground stiffness.

With the Analog Compaction Display (ACD), every roller driver can directly monitor the current compaction process and assess when optimum compaction has been achieved.
During the pass, the increase in compaction is continuously determined and displayed to the driver on a scale from 0-100 – intuitively understandable, just like a speedometer.
The more LEDs light up, the higher the ground stiffness.
Detect weak points
A change in the display value indicates to the driver whether the soil is compactable as early as the first rolling operation.
If it cannot be compacted, the roller driver can initiate soil improvement measures at an early stage.
Avoid unnecessary passes
The progress and the end of the compaction work becomes clear: the driver rolls until the display value no longer increases.
Preventing over-compaction
The skip light warns of grain shattering and machine damage in good time.
Simply install success
The Völkel Compaction display is easy to install in the roller dashboard, either at the factory or as a retrofit.
With the installation housing, it fits into the standard bore for instruments.
