A braking characteristic reduces the speed depending on the distance to the target position, thus ensuring a smooth stop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The standard hardware for this control system is the HCB controller, which can be used to control 4 solenoids (two 4\/3-way valves). If the CSC control unit is to control more than 2 cylinders in synchronization, several control units are networked via CAN bus. The operating modes &#8220;Analog&#8221;, in which a variable set value is controlled, and &#8220;Digital&#8221;, in which adjustable fixed values are controlled, are available. The positions are approached via adjustable ramps. The maximum speed at which the system moves into position can be set via an analog value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another method of positioning more than 2 cylinders per controller in synchronization is to port the function to another hardware platform. The same applies to the interaction of the CSC software with other V\u00f6lkel standard control systems or the integration of the functionality into a V\u00f6lkel machine control system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">installation, it is possible to have the cylinders move with different offsets to each other.
