Specialist sales CCC in the field, civil engineering measurement technology (f/m/d)
Shape change with us: In the digitalization of road construction, area-covering dynamic compaction control (CCC) is becoming increasingly important. Our agile team has created a product family that is a reference in the market with the VÖLKEL Navigator, which is independent of the machine type.
As a contact person in the VÖLKEL Navigator business unit, you will be responsible for the further development and expansion of direct sales in northern or southern Germany. You will represent our company to customers, develop demand and advise construction companies on optimizing the construction process in civil engineering through the use of efficient CCC technology and intelligent sensors. Your contacts include site managers, machine technology managers, test laboratories as well as managing directors and owners. With your expertise and leading technology, you have excellent opportunities to achieve sales success in a constantly evolving market.
You can expect the following tasks, among others:
You will develop hardware for mobile machines, e.g. control units, intelligent sensors, displays or GNSS receivers. Your field of activity ranges from the concept phase to series production of the products and includes:
- You are responsible for all necessary measures in direct sales in northern or southern Germany.
- You sell modular measuring equipment to civil engineering companies with a focus on earthworks and asphalt construction.
- You identify new customer requirements, recognize new market opportunities and are responsible for bringing market impulses into the company.
- You are always welcome and appreciated as a competent contact person for all your customers’ questions regarding the optimization of civil engineering processes in the field of compaction.
- You support and look after your customers and represent Völkel at construction site demonstrations, events and trade fairs.
This training and experience is a good basis for success:
- A degree in civil engineering, geology or alternatively other industry-specific experience. You are enthusiastic about soil mechanics, determining the load-bearing capacity of substrates and testing construction materials in traffic route construction.
- You have an affinity for direct sales of technological solutions.
- You have gained relevant experience on construction sites, are familiar with the processes in civil engineering and know how contractors are structured. This will give you optimum access to the customer.
- You enjoy approaching people openly. You are communicative and can inspire your contacts with products that require explanation.
- In sales situations, you think entrepreneurially and are confident in dealing with different contacts – on construction sites as well as with decision-makers.
