Völkel presented three completely new products on the world-wide largest construction fair.
- Visitors observed the weatherproof VDS modem with data service in the employment during the machine monitoring and could experience how uncomplicated the access to machine data can be from a distance.
- For the fast and professional asphalt compaction with tandem vibrating rollers the ACM Asphalt Compaction Monitor for road construction was presented for the first time. The measurement and information system provides the current compaction process data continuously on the monitor in the driver's cabin. The diver recognises intuitive when the compaction target - a sufficiently compacted and homogeneous asphalt surface – is achieved.
- For earthwork the VCC navigator offers a surprisingly simple surface covering compaction control.
The VCC navigator records the compaction data automatically georeferenced, transfers it to a server via GPRS mobile communications. Simultaneously the data is represented on the colour display in the vibrating roller and on a PC in the site office.
