Skyline crane

The efficiency of a skyline crane is directly correlated with the optimal driving of the individual hydraulic components. The more hydraulic components used, the more important it is to guarantee simple operation.

• In order to lift heavy loads, the traction rope must be pulled up using two winches (the pulley block principle). In order to guarantee an even and constant lifting and lowering procedure, the synchronous winch control system ensures the ganging of both winches. The automatic transmission unburdens the operator, he needs only to work with one joystick and no longer has to make manual adjustments.
• Simply change gear to carry out further functions e.g. driving using the same joystick.
• The flow on demand regulation controls the volume of the hydraulic pumps and feeds it to the various users according to their needs. This means that an optimal exploitation of the output is achieved.
• The load limit sensing control uses the motor performance to the full and protects the diesel motor against overload.
