Vibratory plate: Compaction control and machine monitoring

In accordance with customer wishes, we have supplemented comprehensive compaction control for hand-operated land packers with machine and service management. The innovative, space-saving electronics replaces current, expensive individual solutions and integrates them at good value and intelligently in one single system:

• Measurement and display of current ground compaction
• Motor management with a start motor and stop motor function
• Machine monitoring with error storage
• Logging the errors and operating times on the PC
• Access control using an RFID chip (theft protection)

 

 

The customer-specific display is split to two areas and is clearly legible. The compaction area shows the current ground compaction on an LED scale. The machine area informs of disturbances and servicing intervals and also incorporates the RFID access system. The machine operator legitimates himself by chip and can start the motor with a probe. The electronics collects all compaction, machine and access data in the background and evaluates it.

• Damages to the machine which occur due to servicing being missed or errors being recognised too late are avoided.
• Machine data such as the operating hours, error memory and service intervals can be readout and analysed on the PC via a transponder, making the use of an interface, which is prone to soiling, superfluous.
• Renters can invoice rental times precisely or program time restrictions for the access to the machine.
• Non-wearing access  and theft protection are guaranteed by noncopiable RFID keys.
