Fodder mixing carriage
The self propelled fodder mixing trailer automates the cattle feeding process. The fodder is removed by a rotary hoe, transported into the mixing container and withdrawn over a cross belt.
- The electronics controls the entire machine and is custom-made for the specific tasks. It consists of 4 units which are networked via CAN.
- Due to the monitoring of the working hydraulics e.g. the infinitely variable settable RPM for the mixing screw and the speed of the cross belt, a homogeneous and loose mixture is made and the fodder can be produced uniformly and quickly.
- All important functions can be monitored at a graphics terminal.
- The control system for the hydrostatic drive causes an adapted, gentle drive in all operation modes.
- In the operation mode "automotive", the mixing trailer is driven up to its top speed with variable diesel RPM, adjustable with the throttle pedal.
- In the operation mode "tillage by rotary cutter", it is regulated to a constant high RPM with concurrent low driving speed for tillage, filling and mixing.
- In the operation mode "distribution" a constant, high RPM is used for distribution purposes
- The electronics protects the diesel engine against overloading with load limit sensing controls and an overspeed regulator.
- The brake pressure controller ensures a constant braking process.
